November, really?

So while teaching Possessive Nouns to my lovely 8th graders I decided to use the double whammy concept with them. However, after describing the little devil-looking thing that people would hope to avoid I realized that I, a child of the 80's, was talking about something completely foreign to my students, children of the late 90's.
At which point I searched the internet for the name of the show, since I couldn't think of that, just of the little whammy guy and I found a blog about it.
That brought me to my blog, and that made me realize how long it's been since I've written on it.
Not since April had I published anything and not since June had I created a draft that I forgot to finish.
Seriously.
Wow, where is my life going anymore?

Camping Chics

Well, here we are, a bunch of girls all set to tear it up in Jim Thorpe! Ok, so we never made it into town until breakfast the next day, it was still tons of fun! From ballet flats to first time campers, we had a blast and survived with only a few minor bumps and bruises ("Buck, maybe you could've turned on the flashlight!" and "What was that thump? Did someone just fall?") to tell stories the next day!
