I spent the morning with my big man, Pilgrim. It was beautiful out! Then we spent the afternoon with my huge little man at his first trip to the park. He took his first trip down the slide too. (Video of that, courtesy of Brewster, yet to come.) It was a great day!!!!!Tuesday, May 10, 2011

First born sons
Another Pop-Pop visit!
So I have gotten a little behind on the blogging, but here's the latest! Q and I headed south, not only to see the updated train set, but also to spend time with his other cousins, well, both sets of cousins! It was a great couple days and while we had a horrible drive down, we had an amazingly peaceful drive home (yes, he slept). I think his cousins wore him out!
For those of you paying close attention, notice there's a main street on the train set! Q was sitting in the middle of the table last time, in his bumbo!

Dinner, and kilts, and trains - Oh My!
Just a little overnight trip to Pop-pops for a visit with his grandparents, and his cousins, of course! While the drive was about a half-hour too long for the little guy, we definitely had fun, and will be doing it again!
Quinton got to show off his legs in a Buchanan kilt - just his size! (Which used to be proudly displayed on one of my old Cabbage Patch dolls, lol!)

And after a yummy breakfast, he also got to play with, or on, sort-of, Pop-pops new fancy train set!

We made one more stop at his cousin's swim class before heading home, but hopefully as he gets bigger that drive will seem shorter. We just have to work on the length of those naps! :-)

New Year's Day Party

More snow, which I love, for obvious reasons when I'm working, but even more so now because snow days mean more people home from work to help love Q! Yippee!
Here's another shot from his portraits. I was able to start importing them and turning them so you don't have to pull an "RCA dog" to look at it.
(I don't know if it's his favorite blanket, but it might be mine. Becky gave it to me for the shower, back when he was still asexual, lol! Thank you - love it!)

3mos photos!

Ok, everyone, or family, (the only people who really read this, lol) here are his first portraits! I had them done yesterday and even though he wouldn't show his big, full smile, he looks great. Yes, I am aware that as mom I am as bias as they come, BUT it's true!
Now listen closely, please, please, please do NOT bother printing them! We bought more than enough for people to get more than one pose, and we certainly spent enough money getting them, so here's just a preview, and we'll schedule a visit so you can pick poses and/or sizes galore, but I just couldn't wait to share! :-)
We also got some tummy time pictures and diaper shots but they're horizontal and I have to flip them yet. Here's a sneak peak at my little handsome.

New Presents!
Ok, so it wasn't a Christmas gift, but he's only now big enough, and not really. Here's a 35 sec. clip of Q in his Jungle Jumparoo from Holly. For his first time, I thought he did really well! I've heard babies love them and he's already laughing and smiling in it - I just don't have video of that yet!
